GRANT FUNDING

Grant Funding is available to applicants annually from PORT-ER subject to sufficient funds being available. Grant applications will be judged by the Board of Trustees of PORT-ER in relation to the objects for which the charity is established, namely: 

• the preservation and protection of the good health of persons requiring prosthetic and orthotic care in developing countries in particular but not exclusively, by:
• encouraging safe standards of prosthetic and orthotic care through the education of clinicians to internationally recognised standards
• supporting the advancement of knowledge in prosthetics and orthotics through the dissemination of information
• providing funding to communities of patients/users to enhance patient user education/experience

Grant Funding 2011/12

 

The Trustees of PORT-ER are pleased to announce that due to the high number of applications they have already confirmed the grants to be awarded for the first grant period of 2011/12. One of these will benefit people in Tanzania and the other has been awarded to S.W. England.

 

All applications should be made on the relevant application form available to download from this website. Any applications not received on the appropriate forms will be returned unread.

 

The Trustees of PORT-ER will be considering further funding requests between 3rd October 2011 and 29th February 2012.

  If the required funds are available, the successful grants will be awarded before the end of the financial year i.e. 4th April 2012
